Opening day is suppose to be the best day of the whole dang year, well not for me and my buddy. Opening morning we arrive at our privatly owned land that we have hunted for 10 years. We're getting all our gear out of the truck when someone pulls up next to us and gets out and starts questioning or permision to hunt this land. Come to find out the land had been give to to the son of the land owner, we had no idea and hunting that morning anyway. As we are leaving we are meet by members of the fine local police department are told the son of the land owner is mad as can be. We spend the next 4 hours trying to get the new owner, the son, on the phone. About 3 o' clock we are instrucked to get everything that we have on the property of and we have 'till dark. 2 climbers, 5 lock-ons, 6 feeder, 1 jon boar, and 1 hog trap later we are without hunting land. This is without a dought the worst weekend ever. Now that this has happend ya'll know I'm looking for new land or a deer lease, but I'm having no luck this late in the year and the season already started. So if anyone knows someone or your lease has an opening around me I would love to know about it. I'm 36 miles east of Houston and don't have tons of money, so any help would be great. Happy hunting to all with a place to hunt.

I went to my hunting "lease" Yesterday morning Walked out into the field to get to the stand...there is a brand new house and huge detached shop right there not a hundred yards from my stand. It seems that the property has several hiers, one of the hiers sold thier ten acre tract.
The solution is simple. Get your own land. Doesnt have to be hundreds of acres to bowhunt. If its cut right, 5 acres will do. Monday Morning the first thing I will do is get pre qualified and start looking....screw this.
