    plug?

    is there a proper name for the plug on the small electrical cords that power things such as stereos,dvd players, bluray players, kitchen aplliances such as a hand mixer, etc. talking about the plug that is split and is square on one side and round on the other side?

    where can i buy a replacement? couldn't find em at walmart

    are you talking about a grounded plug? they have the regular flat prongs and a round prong below the flat that acts as a ground.

      I call them polarized. I assume you mean the big rounded one and the slightly smaller square one so if you plug it in upside down it won't go in. You can find them at lowes/home depot

            Got this image by searching polarized plug. Looking for something similar but the left side one square and one round...this should help
