    Poor Customer Service

There is nothing worse than poor customer service when you run a business. I purchased a Arizona EZ Fletch from an archery shop in the area. When I got home, I opened it up and found that it had been used. In fact it had so much glue inside, that it would not work properly. I called the business to see if I could come and switch for a new one. I was told that the one I bought was the last one they had. I asked if they were getting any more of them in. I was told "yes." I asked when they expected them in, and was told this week. Mind you, this is two weeks ago now. I called today and asked if they had come in. I was told no, that it was the peak season and that they meant to tell me that it was used when I bought it, that is why it was marked down. The price was $38. I told the person that it was the same tag that was on it at the TTHA Extravaganza. I told her that I would just come in and get my money back. She told me that the owner special ordered it for me and that I could not get my money back. I told her that I had talked to the owner last weekend and was told that it would be in Tuesday. I have talked to the owner 2 times and 2 other employees since I bought it and have been told it would be in last week, this week, and now supposed to be in next week. I have given my name and number 2 times before today and when I was asked for it again today, I replied that "y'all have my name and number." She replied,"Well, you can give it to me again and I can help you, or you won't and I won't help you." Now, I have never been rude to any of the employees. She told me the owner would call me back. It is now 5:43 and I have not received a phone call and my conversation with her was at noon.

I don't care if they get one in, I will go get my money back and never patronize their business again. Thanks for letting me rant.

thanks for ranting...as a business owner myself, i understand just how effective word of mouth advertising can be...for good, or bad...hate it when people just can't be right. Don't think think they had much home training or something! :-(

Make sure you go in when there are plenty of customers in the store, always easier to get what you want when they don't want other customers to know about these types of issues.

Yeah Fig where did you go?

I thought you were fixing to tell us you were mad at X-Spot for not having your bow ready to go for the opener.

If a business provides great customer service, it sure helps to hear about it. Same with lousy customer service.

It is Elksnap...I was hesitant to say because they were so good when I went in looking at new bows, but then this happens...I don't know.

Jason, Jered helped me out so much that I didn't mind...

BTW....I wouldn't give up on the Arizona EZ Fletch.....I use one all the time, scrape excess glue off with utility cutter.

Its in White Settlement. Don't hesitate cause they let you shoot several bows...that's what they should do if they want to sell bows!
