I brought a few new things to the stand tonight. I figured I would try to sour corn a little differently this time and see how it does number one. Number two I've been slowly introducing one to my buddies to hunting. He has been up in the stand with me once last year and has taking a liking to the idea of hunting. I let him sample all the game I get and he enjoys it so he felt like he wanted to get in on the action. He just got hi first shotgun but still needs a replacement barrel because the one he bought has the riot barrel but I told him he could still bust brush with buckshot for pigs. He has completed his online hunter safety course and is waiting for next weekend to take the classroom portion. While we were in academy I caught him looking up at the crossbows tonight and told him we might be able to find him a deal and then he shocked me and said you know I could probably just do a regular bow I would just need to practice. I told him that wouldn't be a problem either we would just have to size it to him and then I invited him to come out with me to the 3D course next weekend in Lampasas. I think I might have created a monster lol.

Sprayed some sow in heat in the air with as gusty as it is I hope it catches a big ol boar by the nose. If it wasn't so windy it would be erie quiet out here. Not a coon deer cow or anything else yetComment
