I'm looking at getting either an upper for my AR in 7.62X39 or getting an AK47. Which one will be the more accurate, and would you be able to shoot the steel ammo out of the AR upper?
Can you hunt deer & hogs with this load and what's the longest shot you could make with either.

Well I would say the AR would be more accurate...I would save the 7.62 for the AK....For long shots id be looking at a 308 round.. Fired out of something like a Rem M24

The. Solid rounds suck on game but the cheap. Hollow. Points work u" real well out of. An sks. Out to. 150

You can hit a stop sign with it.

..... at about 50 yards.

I killed several deer with an SKS in 7.62x39 . I would think the AR would work out well.
