A buddy and I are heading to our lease this weekend to set up feeders, build stands, and check our trail cams. We are also going to be building a big ol' hog trap. Ive heard putting a feeder inside the pin works really well to get em' in there. Also old fruit, corn, jello really anything. im curious to hear what you guys use. Any suggestions on what to bait this sucker with? what has worked best for everyone? Any input is greatly appreciated!

2 or 3 bags of corn and some grape snow cone syrup.Comment

I mix in a bucket: 1/2 bucket of corn, 3lbs cottonseed meal, 2 cups of Hog wild, 1 box of raspberry jello, 1 ltr of Big Red Cola, Cup of molasses, 1 or 2 of the nastiest and cheapest beers you can find, and enough water to cover corn after mixing all together good. Put lid on bucket and leave in sun for a couple of days. The corn will absorb all the big red and water and swell up. It smells awesome too. Dig a hole with post hole diggers about 2 foot deep, fill half way with corn concoction, and cover with dirt. sprinkle a little around hole site and wait. There will be a big hole there in no time flat.Comment

An empty tripod stand seems to attract hogs like crazy.
