    Baylor Co. Any Nice Deer????

I'm thinking of buying a place near Seymour Tx. Does anyone know if there are nice deer in the area? Pics? Any replies will be appreciated!

Not terribly familiar with Baylor from personal experience, but have seen some really nice deer come out of the county from other people that I do know.

Great deer throughout that country. What direction/how far from Seymour? You don't have to be specific.

Very good area, you can expect to see "mature bucks" with good headgear!. I hunt Throckmorton County almost into Baylor County on the Brazos. Check out some of the deer in my photo album, I haven't killed anything major yet, but some decent ones.

It's west of seyour about fifteen miles near the county line and the brazos.

Long drive for me but the area looks great for hogs, turkey, deer and varmints

Baylor county produces some quality deer every year. It's like any other property, let them mature to their potential and you can have a special piece of property. Having creek bottoms and wheat fields help too.

Yes some extremely nice deer. Hogs as well. All depends on hunting pressure on and around property.

here is a pic of a buck that was supposed to have come out of Baylor Cnty recently - I believe it due to the deer I have seen come off of a freind of mines place in Southern Baylor Cnty.

We own land there and have taken two in two years that went over 140" on 360 acres low fence. We are on the river south of Seymour
