How far did you Travel to get to Bownanza??

I forgot to mark the miles but took us about 6.5-7 hours on the way up and 6 hours even on Sunday with less traffic & just a bit more lead in my foot.

My wife hit a home run when she showed up with her folks Ford Escape Friday morning...I was dreading the gas bill taking the suburban.

I still have one more receipt to show up online to see how much I spent in gas but for sure it would have been double taking the tank.


Most of the folks I talked to on Sat mentioned 2-3 hours but just curious who made the longest journey.

Man, the rio grande valley is a long way from everybody!!

I come from just south of Houston little town of Danbury I think it took bout 2.5 hrs to get home Sunday, felt like it took 6!

Drove the wife's Camry. Got 31mpg vs 18mpg in my truck.

That's the reason I didn't go. It would have been about 600 miles one way.

I'm the same but we drove the Murano with 28 mpg versus the Chevy at 15 mpg!

It still wouldn't of stopped me from being there!!!
