    Food Plot Question

Our front plot is also the field where we hold new cows and cows we are getting ready to sell. It is 12 acres of which we normally plant about 6 in plots. The deer dont use it all that much and we usually end up letting the cows get in to it right before it burns up. I have a steer that is about 500lbs that I will feed out later this year. If I leave him in the 12 acres with free access to the plots do you think he would put too much pressure on it? I could keep him off for a couple weeks after it sprouts. In addition to the plots he would have free access to hay and creep 24/7.

    Thoughts?

Very true. I think it will come.

I am thinking of mixing half spring deer mix and half of something more geared toward the steer. Any thoughts or ideas?
