I'd like to go on a hog hunt where you actually GET or shoot at hogs! I went on an adventure this past weekend...and I do me adventure! South TX, ranch was "covered up" with hogs...we'd have a chance at javelinas also...took several guns, in anticipation OF ACTUALLY shooting at something...saw ZERO hogs, ZERO javis, 35 "new" Americans, and literally hundreds of discarded backpacks all over the ranch...shot my gun just once...disappointed? to say the least, I have been to S.TX twice now, killed ZERO hogs and been trampled by illegals ...I think I'll go north next time...somewhere like Minnesota!

hogs are hit or miss but I understand your frustration.....I wouldnt ever pay for a hog hunt unless it is a high fenced hog ranch because I have heard of too many similar cases like yours.

Why not give the Sabine National forest a try? My kids have killed hogs on 2 out of 2 trips in the last couple of days. Check into it you might have a good time. And best of all its cheap.

Talk to Krivoman here on TBH....FYI - it is BOW ONLY. But it's North "Leakey" - so illegal traffic would be rare.

I've hunted ranches down south for the past 15 years. Knowing hogs are on the place does not equate to seeing them every trip out. The last lease I was on had a ton of pigs on it. However I only saw them a few times all season.

wouldnt care if it were a hunt with rocks...I'd just like to go on one that actually has hogs...I'm beginning to believe that there really ISN'T a hog problem in Texas, it's just a scam...like the TPWD Draw hunts...on the other hand, I do think I've figured out how to slow down the stream of illegals into the country...we just stop0 selling backpacks in Mexico! LOL
