I just cancelled my FaceBook account!

I gave it 1 year and just cancelled it. There were only a handful of people that I was "friends" with that I even cared about what they posted and I speak to them face to face or on the phone frequently. The rest I couldn't care less about. I spent too much time on it and truthfully I get more useful info and have a better time on the Green Screen. Who else has given FB a trip to the round file?

I haven't deleted my account but I don't get on there near as much since I'm a GS'er now.
I may get on there once a week just to check if anyone has been searching for me.

Like anything else it will only eat as much time as you allow it to. My church uses it heavily to communicate for different groups.
I also have several knife and scrimshaw collectors watching my fb to buy my work. Its sold more than my website and knife forums.
