    Fith wheel to gooseneck adapter?

Anybody ever used one or have one for sale?

I have not. Lots of information about this on RV.net though. Biggest issue is potential warranty problems if you are within the time frame.

Best thing to do is buy the B and H gooseneck to fifth wheel hitch

Lots of the adapters will put too much stress in the pin box area.
Lipperts are especially bad about being just underspined....

I used the gooseneck on my 33" triple slide 5th wheel for a couple of years with no problems, but when i cahnged trucks I went to a regular 5th wheel hitch. Heck of a lot easier to hook up if you are alone.

nice did you just buy the gooseneck part and weld the flat base to it. I seen just the gooseneck part at tractor supply.

yes sir, welded it with gossits to 1/4 inch plate.i believe i bought mine at husky trailer but it was only a few bucks cheeper than tsc.it works great and frees up alot of space in the bed when loaded.ive got a 5th wheel hitch also but it just takes up way too much space.you can buy the b&w for bout 450 though, good luck

I bought my adaptor at Magnum Trailers here in San Antonio (also have a location in Austin) 6 years ago and have never had an issue with it.
Mine actually uses a collar that slides over the king pin, then the tube assembly slides over that and uses set screws to hold in place.

you can contact gooseneck trailer out of bryan TX. I used to work there and we use to sell an adapter for around 35 bucks. Don't know if they still have them but ask to speak to Carl in parts. he will get you fixed up.

This is what I have and it is great. The latching could be betteer, but it is the best of both worlds.
