Desert. I would rather walk than swim and in the ocean you cant even peacefully give up. If your gonna die, trying to stay above the water and drowning sounds way worse than just laying down and taking a dirt nap. I dont know enough about surviving on water

Actually, you make a hole in a rock just big enough for a monkey hand then you put some salt rock in the hole. The monkey will put his hand in the hole to get the salt but when he clinches his monkey fist, it will get stuck. Monkeys don't have the cause and effect thought process that we do so he will stay there with his hand stuck for hours. He will eventually let go, however, due to thirst and book it to the nearest water source.

Do you bring a Monkey with you in case you ever get stranded in the desert? or just try to find one when you get there? Are there deserts with monkeys in them? Which ones?

I guess you could always eat the monkey! Gives a whole new meaning to MRE (Monkey Ready to EAT).

I haven't thought that part out yet
