Well we made it back safe an sound. After a nice drive to Galveston Friday, we had a nice steak and tater supper along with some cold beverages. Saturday morning came early as we headed to the boat docks to take off for a day of off-shore fishing. We went 40 miles out and really got into the snapper over some shipwrecks and caught some real doozies, unfortunately its not quite snapper season so we did not get to bring any fillets home. We did have a couple of visitors, a couple of dolphins, who would wait literally within fishing rod distance of the boat for us to toss our catch back in the water. That was quite an experience being able to see them dive 20ft under the water and show off their fishing skills. One fella on the other boat did manage to bag a nice grouper that he gave to the bachelor. We intended to go out Saturday night for marti gras but after a long day of trying not to fall overboard, we were all sound asleep by 9:00. We had a blast and memories to last a lifetime!
