    Custom Rifle Build-Gunsmith Recommendations

For those out there that like to build rifles, where are yall sending your stuff to get custom work done. Im looking to get some of the following things done:

    muzzle break
    bolt handle extension
    bolt fluting
    bedding

    Any info/advice/suggestions appreciated and welcomed

Matchgrade Arms in Spring are top notch.
I do not recommend Muzzlebreaks. No fun to shoot due to the noise increase. Go with a Decellerator recoil pad.

Pete will treat you right and can/will do any custom work you want done. Not far from you if you're in CS and hed does great work, usually pretty quick too.

Pete did all of the stuff you want done on my rifle except for the handle extension. GREAT work and got back in like 3 weeks.

Another one for my bud and hometown friend Pete Pieper....

He does amazing work, had him do some stuff mentioned above to my father in laws custom weatherby...

He is not far from you at all. He is member of LSBA and use to do a lot of traditional shoots. If you come see him swing by my office, Im less than a mile away. You will pass me

I second that opinion. He worked wonders on a rifle of mine!

Pete Pieper does great work. I would send a rifle there in a heartbeat if I needed custom work done.

I have owned 6 or 7 guns with brakes on them and have had ZERO issues. They are louder under a cover like at a range, but everyone I know wears hearing protection at a shooting range.

I used to have a 300 Jarrett with a Hart brake on it and it was no louder in the field than a regular rifle and that is a fast 300.

I had brakes on a 375 H&H, 300 WSM, 270, 300 RUM as well, not an issue in the field in regular use.
