With an emphasis on tracking and baying activities, this event is going to be a great opportunity to make new friends, spend some time outdoors with your dog and practice your handling skills under the guidance of experienced instructors. There will be a hog bay arena, blood trailing workshop and competition, trapping demonstration, and more.
I'm trying to figure out how much interest there is in having a snake avoidance trainer at the event. It will be in Menard, TX on April 2nd.
I've talked to a couple of trainers and their fees are generally in the $40-$60 range but they won't travel unless we have enough participation.
Would anybody be willing to travel to Menard to have their dog snake-proofed?
If you're interested in coming out to the event, there will be a meet and greet and cook out Friday and Saturday nights and limited overnight accommodations are available.
