    Hogs Put to The Blade

What a day in the great outdoors! This was my first hog doggin trip. Hunted with a great group of people who have been doing this for 20 years. The catahoulas bayed up two nice sized hogs, the bulldog and pit did what they do and I was able to seal the deal and stick them both.

Honestly that was the easy part. The real all-stars were the dogs. Some of them got cut up bad and some just got nicked but they all played a role and the whole thing ran like a well oiled machine with people and dogs all doing their part.

Video coming up sometime next week. Here are a few pics:

This dog's name was Patty and she was the star today. Definition of a strike dog as she struck a hot trail on both of the hogs. She also got in there and mixed it up with hogs once the catch dog was released. Got a pretty bad cut under her chin as a result. One hell of a dog.

Sas the catch dog, she got a little nicked up. My favorite pitt bull.
