I was wondering if anybody had any info on a Jimmy
Faulkner with hillcountry outfitters. I spoke with him earlier about finding me a season lease and I was just wondering if he is a straight shooter??

that guy is dam liar and P O S... dont even waste your time. he needs 500 just to look for u. i used him n he never found me anything n i lost money on his ***... he aint worth crap in my book!!!!!!

dont give him a dime, he's a big liar...had some friends deal with him, he made about 1500 on them and was giving them numbers from the paid hunting web-sites..

I met the guy a few years ago. Seems like he was making promises that could not be kept. I stayed away and would hope you would too!

BAD NEWS!!!!!!!! He is a liar. I have personal experience with him. He set me up with a lease and was suppose to meet with me to look at it. He told me it was 2000 acres and when it was all said and done it was 370 acres. We completed the deal with Jimmy and then later found out we only had the 370 acres. When I tried to call him on it his sister kept answering the phone saying Jimmy was very sick and in the hospital. She said he would call me back, I'm still waitin on that call.

He is not honest I promise you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We paid him last year and ended up finding a lease on our own. We were thinking about changing leases and sent him an email about 6 weeks ago and heard nothing from him. I talked to Connie about 2 weeks ago and she was suppose to give me some listings the next day and we're still waiting.

I have dealt with him twice and he has delivered both times
on places a person would not find unless you went door to door.

he's ripped off enough people, maybe he helps one now and then, he's made a fortune off of others, he's a crook..

Sorry to read so many having had bad experiences with Jimmy as an outfitter. I have known Jimmy for many years and yes I agree that as an outfitter he leaves much to be desired, he does seem to tell you what you want to hear which is not always the way it is.. As a fellow hunter on a lease he always put other hunters first even giving up his own stand to someone else if they were not seeing anything on their own. I have always had a hard time getting in touch with him when I needed to, he just seems to pop in at various times. Last I heard from him was in an email and he was saying the Dr. told him he is dying from Liver/Kidney failure and didn't think he would make it much past the beginning of 2011. If this is true or not I don't know. My advise to anyone looking into dealing with Jimmy as an outfitter is Don't do it, I think you will most likely be disappointed. I have always liked Jimmy and still consider him a friend of sorts but will not do business with him.
