i would go to Ft. Worth instead. much better things to do and see. Go to the Stockyards and there are many shops, eatin joints and entertainment everwhere. lots of good music.

Try not to get mugged or into an auto accident with a non-english speaking individual.

Take shots at the muggers? Dodge gun fire? LEAVE! I live there and don't really do anything in the city because the bums and and others have flushed this city down the drain. There is not much really here since they took West End Market place out...unless you want to go to Deep Elm and get drunk. Other than that, don't come here.

Fort Worth is great, but it's different than Dallas. Just depends on what she's looking for.

              The Aquarium is cool.
Greenville is full of eclectic bars.
Uptown has good restaurants..i'm partial to Javier's.
She might want to shop at Northpark...it's crowded, but the people watching is great.
The Shops at Legacy are nice for shopping/eating/bars. Jasper's makes a good steak.
Whiterock lake is nice if you want an early morning jog/bike ride.
Topgolf is a fun place to have a drink and hit some balls (baseball or golf ball)

If you do hit Fort Worth instead, check out Rahr Brewery.

I wouldn't want to raise kids in Dallas, but it's a lot of fun if you're in your 20's-30's

The Dallas and Houston areas are a huge draw to the Muslim community now for some reason. My wife told me that Houston is where they go on their annual trips to Mecca on this side of the ocean. Grand Prairie is just a bad bad place period. Dallas still has some Glamour downtown, but not like it once held.

Start off at brunch at Taverna and throw back $1 drinks and enjoy the scenery. Then move on down McKinney Ave and hit a few patios. Finish up at Nick & Sams with a big steak.

There are tons of places to go down Henderson Ave. Dinner at Neighborhood Services Tavern and then drinks at JBlacks and Capitol Pub would be a good time.
