Keeping an arrow count

Anybody keep track of how many arrows they shoot with each bow? I used to do this with firearms, but I shot so much that it was a pain to keep up with and quit. I shoot a few hundred arrows every week, and have thought about tracking it, maybe just to see how much wear and tear my bow and parts are getting before they fail or wear out. It's harder than with firearms because I can't just count the empty boxes of ammo.

That's quite a bit of shooting there bud. You buy bowstrings by the dozen?

Its only been a few weeks. It will taper off I'm sure. Just new to it and havin fun. And by a few hundred I mean like 150. How long do strings last?

I shoot about about 50 arrows Monday thru Friday. Than about 10 on the weeks. I do not keep an official count.
