They should hang him in public to send a message. Anyone notice that some Saudi company was paying for his college / expenses? The Saudis fund Al Queda, 1993 WTC, 9/11 WTC, and people like this idiot arrested in Lubbock. Yet we still kiss their *****, buy their oil, and protect them with our military. When will we ever learn? Prob about the time our gov't figures out that MX is just as big a threat, which will be never.

These people aren't afraid to die; perhaps, they're anxious to die.
So, to me, life in prison's solitary confinement seems to be the best punishment (and deterrant). Let 'em contemplate how they screwed up and how long it'll be 'till the afterlife.
Perhaps a live, everlasting video feed of solitary confinement cells broadcast to Jihaddist's websites.

How long will we continue to be lucky? The FBI and other LEO's are doing a great job but what are the chances they will catch them all? (and catch them pre explosion?) This guy said in his diary that he got a student visa and came here specifically to carry out jihad. How many more are out there? Due to good intel and police work they've already foiled more than a dozen plots like this - and those are the ones we know about.

The perp from the Ft. Hood massacre should have been caught way before, but for the gutless and politically correct supervisors in the Army Medical Department (and yes, I'm a retired Army medic guy) who had enough hard evidence to toss him out of the Army several years before. Too much PC everywhere I turn.

Ever wonder why the Israelis don't have airliners hijacked? It's their screening process-DUH!!! And, they use trained screeners--really trained, with lots of intelligence and counterintelligence training, not the numb-skulls you see in our airports that are being passed off for security.
