Great day of fishing

Took the girls fishing after school yesterday where I deer hunt.

Check out the big channel cat Lauren caught on six pound line and Zebco 33 road and reel. We were using minnows in four feet of water The fight was on and it took her about ten minutes to land it.

It was a great day.

No park hunting for me. The landowners cleaned up the shoreline and made a small boat ramp.

yes that is a yellow cat. I did not fillet that one.

she screamed DADDY!!!!!! HELP ME and I turned around to see this big fish breaking the surface. That Zebco was screaming line out. This point is know for catching crappie so I never changed the trout hook off from an early trip in Allen.


She did a great job listening to me and we were able to get the fish to the bank.
