    Hog Down and Found!

Last night I posted a thread on how smart these porkers are and how they play the wind just as we do. This is the same boar that busted me a couple of weeks ago and have many TC pics of him. I ended up getting a shot off before he scurried after he sensed I was there. Did not find him last night (major thick stuff). Well this mornin I got into the woods to put a search on and there was no search needed, he was down within 30-40 yards of shot impact and he was glowing through the woods. I don't know how I didn't step on him last night. Drug him out for some LDP's and he is now laying at the bottom of graveyard hill for coyote bait the next few days. Gotta love a 30-30, nothing gets too far.

I would guess between 200-250 compared to the the last boar I took down that was 240. I know it was a task gettin him into the bed of my truck by myself.

good 40pounder. That lying on the belly camera shot with you 2feet behind the pig really helps it look bigger.

haha, I knew that comment would come up somewhere, I had to set my camera on my tackle box and do a timed pic, im really not far behind it, less than a foot I'd say. What else do you do when you're by yourself? lol

Don't act like you aren't guilty of doing the same...
