I think you're right, Lee. Anyone else think it could be a juvenile coachwhip?

Zoom in and look at the portion of the body that's behind the pipe. Does that not look coachwhip-esque? It does to me!

                  Other coachwhip characteristics...

                  Exceptionally slender body.

Faint and non-distinct banding, mostly around the anterior body that fades out towards the tail.

As they start to mature, darkness starts developing at the nose and works it's way back, eventually encompassing the head and a good portion of the anterior body. This one seems to have only a dark nose.

I don't know if that's what it is, but it seems to me like the most plausible guess so far.

That's a coachwhip.I've seen and caught lots of them.
They're harmless but they bite like crazy when you pick them up.

Since it's harmless and has been known to eat other snakes it should be one that you'll ignore if you see it.Unless you just wanna set yourself up to get scared by other snakes that, that coachwhip was plannin on eatin until it met you.It wouldn't matter to me either way I just thought I'd let you know since it seems like you don't like snakes.By lettin that one go there would be others that wouldn't be on your property much longer.

chicken snake.. I don't see the coach whip coloration.. The banded colors on whip are white where as the band colors in pics are dark..
