CHL help and question

Ok, I received my Renewal application in the mail and said I had the opportunity to do it on line now, I completed the online application and paid my $72.00, then it said application would be incomplete until I mailed in the CHL 100 form,so does this mean I still have to go to a class and have a Instructor fill this form out for me to send in, if so whats the good to do it online and paid the $72.00 if I have to go now and pay more money to get my renewal finished, If you can anwser this or help me out let me know.

I got mine as well I think that just means you can pay the state their part of the money but I'm not sure.

You have to go and take recert course and then mail the chl 100 form in and then the process can proceed. The recert class is alot quicker than the first time class.

So the state gets their money up front. Now they could care less if you send in the CHL-100.. they have theirs.

I have had my CHL now for 13 yrs, that is why I thought I was sent the on line renewal, this is what I am not understanding, my BIL and I took it same time 13 yrs ago, all he had to do was the on line and they sent him his lincense's. Guess I will contact them on Monday.

You can do the same thing initially. It just let's you do the paperwork at home and pay more conveniently. As far as I know even reups must sit through an abbreviated renewal course and shoot again.

Bish, the renewal class is much shorter. Like said above, state has their money. The good thing is you don't have to do any paperwork at the class now. All you need is a form 100 that says you passed! Also, you might be mistaking on about your buddy. You have to send in the 100 form from an instructor.
