Dove Hunting Chaparel

Just wondering if anyone dove hunted chaparel last weekend. Wondering if they have any birds this year. Thanks.

I was down there yesterday. My son took his shotgun, but we didn't shoot any birds. It was hot.

But... mostly I was just driving and scouting for next week. I got drawn for the Archery deer hunt. It is very green and lush down there. Not many birds. No one else was getting many at all.

I t is amazing how thick and tall the grass is.

Thanks for the feedback i guess all the rain this year isn't helping out. In the past i'v had some pretty good shoots out there around the ponds. But good luck on your youth hunt next weekend hope your son/daughter gets one.
