A Message to All TBH'rs (Tink)

I just got off the phone speaking with Tink and he wanted me to pass this message on to everyone.

"I'm in Pike County, Illinois and the Rut is going slow with temperatures as high as 72 degrees. It has warmed up tremendously, from the past few weeks. I'll do an update when I return, and hope that everyones season is going good. I had 2, 160 class bucks come in on me and start fighting in front of my treestand. Someone in a truck was driving by and saw them and stopped to watch. He continued throughout the day driving up and down the road, and I never seen either buck again."

I'm pretty sure Tink will have more stories to tell upon his return as his journey has taken him from Iowa to Illinois.

Good luck Tink and congrats on the doe!

I bet Tink hasn't touched his sight since had added a spacer between riser and sight base to dial it in for him? At least I hope he hasn't. His bow was shooting good for both of us

I like that Concept bow...need to find one for my Dad. Pretty unreal you can draw a 60lb bow to full draw, hold it down to the floor at full draw and let go of the riser and watch it just sit there loaded up and hanging down directly from it's own weight. Pretty wild technology.

ya it was nice and cool, and things were really get good, and then it started warming up. Today it was 70 here, it averages 60 and 74 is a record. Even though the average is 60. I do not remeber to many November days that are warm usually cools off pretty good by now. Every year we always have a week of warm weather in November and also a week in December, I do not know why this happens but every year it happens you can count on it. The bad news when ever it does this, it usually gets really cold afterwards, rains really bad or worse, lots, and lots of snow. It can be as bad as lake effect snow if the warm air hits the cold Canadian air that roams the Mid-west this time of year.
