WHERE to find used/ 18whlr. trailer

I am needing a 48ft. + old 18whlr trailer to use as a bridge crossing but this seems to be a needle in a haystack. Has anyone had any success tracking such a monster?

Pick up a "Commercial Truck Trader" and other similar publications at any truck stop There are always loads of places that sell used trailers.

That will give you a jumping off point.

Also hit up the yellow pages, and look for truck trailers and equipment.

got one 48ft reefer unit our company towed and impounded and has now became ours

there is a place on hwy 71 in plum between westpoint and lagrange that has old trailers and railroad cars for bridges

There is one on the Dallas Craigslist that is 48 ft in Alvarado for $1850. Not sure if that is a good deal or not, though.
