Check out this piglet I caught

I caught this piglet while snipe hunting. I was walking through the grass seen in the picture and a 100ish pound pig jumped up and ran away at about 10 yards. I looked back to where it came from and I saw brown hair. Just then another 100ish pound pig turned out of the grass at 10 yards and came at me. I shot my shotgun in self defense and it turned and ran. I guess I missed. I then saw this little guy running. I ran him down and caught him. He was not happy. He kept trying to bite me. He also went after my dog. It was pretty funny. I wanted to keep him, but he was still on milk and too agressive for a pet.

you ever snuck up on them like that? to the point where they jumped and scared you? too bad that thing was too aggressive to keep.

Cool but dude I gotta ask, how do you miss a pig at 10 yards with a scatter gun? and I would have not returned little guy to the wild..

I bet it was a hip shot and the back peddle that really messed the shot up!

that is funny....we did the same thing when hunting with dogs. Took off on foot and caught the little guys. So much fun. We didnt let them go though

An office full of ladies, would have to open it when they thought there was a poor little piggy inside... they'd want to pet it. A shoat running loose around the office.... ah, I digress - but I'm grinning from ear to ear.

My dog is a Deutsch Drahthaar. She is a versatile dog that hunts everything.
