I'm looking for a good way to organize my personal budget and came across mint.com when looking for something to help. Do any of you guys use this program and if so do you like it? One of my main concerns is with security...providing my bank account info and credit card info to a 3rd party doesn't sound to appealing...any thoughts or suggestions?

I use it on a limited basis. It does give you free alerts to unusual spending and large deposits, etc.
but I wouldn't recommend it -- it's just too buggy.
Go read their forums before you decide to sink a bunch of time in it.
They have no interest (read that as monetary interest) in keeping their users happy.
You get what you pay for.

I've used it before and thought it was pretty useful until we had some sort of problem with it. The only account support they give you is an email address to contact them with so we used that. Still waiting to hear back from them...about 14 months later. Yes, you do get what you pay for. Needless to say we haven't used it much since then. I heard about it from the Clark Howard Show.

I use it weekly and would recommend it. I use it mainly to trend net worth, net income, spending, etc. I have been using it over a year now, so I have some good data that allows me to see trends over the last year. Occasionally I have some trouble with an account updating, but so far they have fixed the issues quickly.

Ive used it for almost a year now and its pretty helpful. One of the coolest things about it is you can see how much youve spent in different categories over several months. You can set up budgets and compare months to help yourself set up a realistic budget you can follow. Its a good way to see where all your money is going and why theres none left at the end of the month.
