    my feeder pen is 8 full cattle panels and plenty of good bucks jump in it.

        Might go ahead and just do wire (but keep'em bigger) as I don't have a cow or hog problem and just buy panels as I can to keep the initial cost down for now. Never know where I'll be hunting in a couple of years...
        I think the height is more critical than the size. JMO

          I used 11 panels, tie them good and more tee post the better. I had hoggs in the pen and they busted out before i got to them. secure it good.

            Minimum 10 x 16' panels - overlap them one square each.

              I used 8 panels, only because thats all I could afford and have had no problems with cows or pigs. Have pics of 4 buck and 2 does in the pen at one time. Doesnt seem to matter to them. I think locations has alot more to do with it than just size.

                If you are pinched for money and only have cooperative cattle to keep out then cut the panels in half, length-wise and you will double up on the circumference of the pen. Hang the panels about 18" off the ground. This will keep cows out and allow deer to either jump over or crawl under the fence.
