Sutton County about 30 miles east of Sonora off I-10. 3200 acres, type 3 MLD, rifle season runs Oct thru Feb. Season lease only, with off season access for filling feeders and setting up only, no dove or spring turkey.
Cabin with full kitchen, bathroom, chest freezer, or bring a trailer if you want privacy. Barn available for storage of lease vehicles.
MLD survey sets harvest quota, last year was 40 does and 20 bucks.
1 trophy, 1 cull and 4 does per spot. As for buck quality there have been a couple 140's killed the last two years and a handful of 130's. A few bigger deer seen but still walking.
Turkey available during the fall season. Some pigs but not overrun. Axis may be available for additional fee, checking with landowner.
Bow and gun allowed.
No guests or children allowed. I know this is a big issue for some and it is the ranch policy not mine so please don't waste time and bandwith commenting/preaching/griping about it. It is what it is. Maybe with time (several years) and gaining the landowners trust it may relax but that is the rule for now.
Price is $2500/gun plus $600 per for protein feed and electricity.
