    Reloaders, need some help...

Well, was running through some 5.56 and just after priming around 300 cases I flipped the primer arm over as usual and it fell on the floor. Looks like it broke off about the last 2/3 of the shaft. At least RCBS is great about fixin stuff, what can I do to get the bolt out?

If its to tight to spin out with a pick or other small tool you will have to drill a small pilot hole and use an easyout to back it out. They are available at any autoparts or hardware store.

Ok, haven't really fussed with it yet. Thanks for the input.

You might try a hand primer, one with the little tray and the squeeze handle. You can feel the primer seat better and they are fast.

The RCBS hand primer is worth it weight in gold. Buy one and dont look back!

X3 on the hand primer. I will never press prime again. The easy out should solve your bolt problem.

You have been blessed by this incident. Leave it as is and buy a hand primer. Lee makes a good one but the link breaks after a while. RCBS and Hornady both make good ones that don't break. I have started using an RCBS strip hand primer and am liking it.

$25 hand primer, problem solved. I used to prime through the press about 2000rds per year I will never go back to the press. RCBS hand primer is good and won't break like the Lee.
