Last year at a local pawn shop I picked up a barely used Curado (new style) for 70.00. Well today while I was in there I came across a Shimano Stradic 4000 spinning reel on a less than average rod. Walked out the door with it for 38.00. Now just a little TLC with a rag, plus oil and new line.

canny i picked up two shimano spinnig reels with the plastic n tags on them. thy are orange, cant remember wich ones exact, but they retail 69 at academy. i got em both for 30 bucks out the door... i love pawn shoppin bc u can find anything if u know wat ur lookin at!

Wish we had better pawn shops around Houston. The ones I've been in make you feel like a criminal just going in. then you see their prices and realize they are the ones trying to rob you
