Mitch call hill country rifle and see if Matt will do it, If not Drury's (sorry typed in the Dietz's earlier must have had a brain fart) did a trigger job on my TC Encore when no one else would touch it, may want to give him a call

could you just replace the trigger with a aftermarket one?

I adjusted mine myself a few years ago. I also put a trigger shoe on it. It is SWEET now. I did all kinds of tests slamming the bolt shut and banging the butt of the rifle on the floor trying to see if it would fire accidentally. It never did and never has to this day. But you never know when a sear is going to break or something. Always expect it to go off every time you shut the bolt, and keep it pointed somewhere safe.

I had a local gunsmith to a trigger job on another rifle about a year ago, so I know some of them will do it. I understand the liability issues for a guy if he sets a really hair trigger for somebody, so some of them aren't willing to do it anymore.

Wayne Chapman between Centerville and Crockett on FM 1500 does an awesome trigger on a Mark V. He has done all of mine and does awesome work.

hill country has a great reputation and Ive used http://www.mgarmsinc.com with great results. My Weatherby shoots cloverleaves at 200 yards due to their work...

My .300 Wthby has the best trigger out of all the rifles I own.
It shouldn't be hard for a good gunsmith to fix it to your liking.

X2 on Hill Coutry Rifle. Give Matt a call. They've built 3 for me (300WM. 7mm-08, .243) tack drivers the lot. Matt's a great guy and they do great work. Tell'em Ed sent you. Best of luck Ed
