    Been wanting again....lol

I've been wanting a tattoo for a long time. I haven't got one yet, because I want the one I get to be meaningful. I finally came up with getting my son's name and birthdate in the center of my upper back (Just above shoulder blade line). Does anyone have one there?? If so, how was the pain? I have a pretty high pain tolerance..

The worst part is around the spine. IMO.

They all hurt. It is worth the pain for the meaning. I am about to get my sons names on my arms. One on each side (my wifes idea). Either be on the deltoid, or under the bicep. Cool idea, I wanted their eyes on my shoulders looking out for my back.

It only hurts for the first few seconds, then you'll kind of let it turn into a pleasant burn.

Never understood the tattoo thing. Some of them are really cool looking, and I see some that are pretty blah. I have plenty of scars on my arms and hands from sharp knives and building fence over the years
If I were to get one I would dang sure do the leg work and find a good artist.

My wife has all 4 of our kids and the 3 grand kids names in Chinese caricatures, in a circle, with 2 baby foot prints in the center(like the birth certificate)in the same area you are thinking about. I could tell she didn't enjoy the time.....but is happy with the end result.

I've had my chest, inner and outer arm, shoulder and back done. My chest was the worst followed by my inner arm.
