The wife and I are building a house and I am getting a study. I have some ideas of my own and have been looking at stuff on the internet, but wanted to run it past the TBH crowd to see what you all have. I'm looking for ideas on built-ins and bookshelves, etc. I haven't had a study since our first house 15 years ago and miss having it. I want to do it right. Please post up pics. This is not a "Man Room" thread, I have that down pat.

I don't have pictures of mine, but would suggest, if the plans are not completed yet, that you place the study in a distant room away from the kitchen, den or livingroom, etc. If you really plan to use it as a "study" that will do more for you than almost anything.Comment
