    Snow hogs???

Anybody had any experience hunting hogs in the snow? Are they active or lay up somewhere? Thinking about heading to the lease this afternoon to hunt this evening and in the morning.

Yes, they will certainly be on the move to find food in these conditions. I've seen a lot better hog movement during daylight hours when it's real cold like this.

This guy WAS hungry. I would think hogs and other critters would be more apt to more around in the daytime in this cold to find food and stay warm when they may normally stay bedded till dark.

I always have more daytime pictures of deer and hogs when it snows and gets cold like this.

Lord willing..... they will tell us work is canceled tomorrow and if they do I'll let y'all know how the hog movement was in the SHNF. I am fairly chompin at the bit to get to do some hog hunting in snow.

Was thinking the same thing. I don't expect much snow on the ground, but the temps should have them moving.

When it's snow and cold, the hogs will lay up in a nest that they build and do most of their feeding during daylight hours!
