There's Cold, Then There's STUPID Cold....

I see y'all have gotten some snow and cold, so I thought I'd join the party.

I've seen it cold around here, but this is getting a little ridiculous....

And if the winds stay at 20 mph, that puts it down near -48!!!

Frick I hate this weather. You stay warm up there brother! We did tow my neighbor around on a skim board behind the cart today though. It was almost worth it.

This mornin it was 0 and the wind chill factor was about -30 here.I think the highest temperature of the day was about 7 degrees.It was so warm..................lol
This afternoon we went and broke ice so that the cows could get a drink.Some water splashed up onto my coat and my glasses and when I got back into the truck it had turned to ice already.It was a little chilly out there to say the least.

Now that sounds like fun! I'm trying to stay warm, I've had the heaters runnin full bore all day! Now I KNOW we'll have to hit the Diamond C in August, just to thaw out!

My thermometer says 18 right now and the news says a wind chill of 4, not the norm for us

Just looked outside and it's 16 in Leander. Not sure about the wind chill. But my dogs won't even go out.

Two years ago I was in Steamboat and it was -25.......however....the dry cold is not nearly as bad as what we are experiencing. Seriously....it is not anywhere near as bad.

I would agree with that. Just got back from WY and it was a different kind of cold. 20 there seemed warmer to me than 35 here. Kinda weird.
