Where can I buy the rabies vaccination?

Guess I need to find a good vet in the area then. not driving to pasadena to go to their old vet. Thanks for the info.

You may get some different recommendations from others but I know of two good vets in the area. First is the new office by the WalMart at the West end of Woodlands Parkway. There's a good Aggie there who did us right when we lived there. Also, there is an older guy in Shennandoah who still practices and does a great job for reasonable prices. He is just past Woodlands Pkwy going South on I-45. I think the name of his place is Shennandoah Vet Clinic or something similar.

I wish my memory were clearer, but thats about the best I can do.

If you are dead set on doing it yourself, order them from Jeffers Pet, have them shipped to a friend in Oklahoma, then have the friend ship to you.

It is not a controlled substance, the State of Texas regulates them for reporting/tracking purposes.

Texas is already at 2010 levels. A Hood county vet had a horse brought in last week positive for rabies, several skunks also. Vaccinate your animals, all your animals its going to be a nasty summer.

In Texas the rabies vac. has to be done by a vet. At least that was the law when I worked for a vet.
