    Need help from Green Screen

My 12 year old daughter wants to get into bowhunting. The problem I have is I have recently learned that she is right handed but left eye dominant. She doesn't show any characteristics of being or becoming left handed. What do ya'll suggest.

either learn to shoot left handed or shoot with the left eye closed.

Tried the eye patch but she doesn't like it. She can't close her left eye. Haven't tried to let her shoot left handed but she is much stronger in her right. Like I said she shows no signs of being left handed. I had a friend of mine tell me that she will probably start but hasn't yet.

If she's left eye dominant you cant change that. Teach her to shoot left handed.

Left handed stuff is hard to come by, but the plus is when it comes up for resale (used) its usually cheeper because the demand isnt there.

When he was very young we determined that my younger son is right handed but left eye dominant. I started him out shooting bb guns, .22's, toy bows, etc left handed. He has had no problem and shoots well with a compound and recently a recurve. I don't think "handedness" is a big deal when shooting bows. It's not like trying to throw a ball or write with your non-dominant hand. It will really be important if she ever starts shooting a shotgun where having your dominant eye over the barrel is vital.
