That's just great I hunt central Texas and I shoot numerous hogs each year.

Its been around - I wear gloves when cleaning hogs and I make sure to freeze the meat for at least 10 days before I try to cook any.

they said case A is considered a bioweapon ?

how would freezing or cooking all the way threw kill something like that ?

Not only that but brucellosis can be caught as well. Just something else to worry about. I've read if any of the game meat is cooked it should be safe but makes you concerned. Gloves are key to prevent it for sure from what everyone says. I think I remember seeing someone post this here also: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/...s/6622629.html

Another reason to leave them lay. I shoot quite a bit of hogs and when I clean them I always wear gloves. It said they found some up here in the panhandle and the way we kill them on my lease it makes me not even want to touch one period. To me it's just not worth getting sick for a stinking pig.
