Need Art Work/Team Logo Help

I am coaching my son's baseball team this spring and the boys decided that they want to be the HAWGS...

This is what I have come up with for the shirts so far... (just going with the hog head on the hats) Can anyone clean this up, make it better, just looking for more ideas.

Team Colors are Black/Red/White

I just started learning a new program just for this type stuff. Let me see what I can do.

If anyone out there knows how to use Illustrator they could clean this up real quick and nice. I might take a stab at it but I am rather busy right now so I can't guarantee if I could get it back in a reasonable time. I will let you know though.
