Mucks Woody Elite Stealth Premium Hunting Boot here and they are the best I've ever used. For the first time in my life my feet didn't get cold on the stand during a hunting season. Very comfortable and easy to get on and off.
Muck Woody Elites here, picked them up last summer and was very impressed with them. Wore them during early bow season all the way through December, never got too hot and never got numb toes during the cold weather either. Great boot for the money.
Here is my opinion, don't crucify me. Rubber boots serve only two purposes 1st they keep your feet dry in wet conditions, and second they conceal your scent. Neoprene however does not necessarily conceal your scent. Rubber does not hold scent very well, that is if you touch your boot, the scent for whatever reason does not "stick" for very long. Neoprene has a different make up and will hold scent. If you are looking for a warm boot, buy pack boots or something similiar. If you are looking for something to conceal your scent, go with a true rubber boot. They make them now in up to 2000grams of thinsulate, which should be very warm. Just my opinion, and no I am not a scientist.
I've used the same "uninsulated" Alpha Burly Sports (actually have a felt inner liner) since 2004. Very comfortable for use in temperate down into minor cold (50's) temps with proper socks. Fiberglass arch for strength and comfort. Have held up well, no leaks. I'll buy another pair when these wear out. My favorite early-season bowhunting boot when grass is wet in the morning.
