    Bow case/mount for Ranger

We are in dire need of a mount of some sort to hold our bows in the Ranger. We typically have all kinds of other things in the bed, and I dont really like to put my bow in the back with all of that other junk, just kind of **** I guess. Plus, dont want to bump my sights, break my pins etc. For those of you with Utility Vehicles, what have you come up with?

I've been wanting to weld a gun rack on the roll bar, but I wasn't sure if it would clear the dump bed.

we have also been considering how to mount a bow rack on the ranger, laying them in the back isn't what we really like to do.
So if anyone got some good idea's I sure would like to see them.

Couldn't you mount some of those soft grip bow holders that go on four-wheelers to the hood?

I don't have a ranger, but I could imagine you could do the same what I did for my cart. I did a front rack and just mounted bow holders from Cabellas. Pics are prior to painting.

There's a Mad Dog Talon Grip EZ Mount that you can screw to the hood of your vehicle that will hold two bows or fire arms. They also make a single holder. You can check it out.

I just put a double set of the Mad Dog Talons on my Kawasaki Mule. I mounted them to the expanded metal mesh between the seat and the bed and they work great. Holds two bows very securely.

Really want the mount for two bows, prefer on the roll bar in the rear. In the front, not a chance. Brush and trees would do a number on them. Behind the headrest on the exterior would be perfect.

I mounted mine behind the seat on the mesh facing the bed and back of Mule. Very well protected and they are held in like glue. Bout $35 bucks at Academy.

I mounted a big-Sky to the roll bar in my Ranger and it works well for one bow. It's also handy for carrying shotguns durings bird season.

I made this mount with a piece of 1" square tubing. I picked up the fin grips and mounts at Cabelas.

Here's something you might want to consider. Very nice setup with lots of adjustability.

Bowkaddy Bow Rack System - mount on your ATV, UTV, Pickup, Bike, or anywhere.

Here's what the double Bowkaddy set up looks like on a Ranger. UTV Bracket can be moved up or down on the rollbars depending on bow height.
