                  Relax, listen more than talk.
Imagine it's day #1 on the job, you are a consultant, and work with the hiring manager to map out how and what you will do. Ask him/her what their top problems are today, and they pull out a piece of paper (or the back of a place-mat in a restaurant) and then draw a picture/ diagram/ boxes and arrows showing how you will solve it. Don't talk about the past, history and what you DID. Make a plan of how you will DO it.

At the end, shake hands, look in the eye, and say " I liked what I heard, I want the job" and then be quiet and count backwards in your head from 100 to 0 and wait for a response. If the initial response is 'OK', still be quiet, and let him think and respond again.

Good luck, that technique got me my job after being out of work 20 months. God bless and good luck.

Thanks Brothers and Sisters....that was one of the hardest interviews I've been to.... 5% was about job skills and 95% was hypothetical "what would you do in this situation" and why it would work, and how it might fail

I took my time and used past experiences from my 20+ plus years in the industry to answer in real world examples

Its a waiting game now, should know within a week if I made the cut.

Thanks for Well Wishes.....gave me a little extra confidence for sure
