    B/CS Eats

As you can tell from my post about Sullivan's I have been working in the B/CS area.(I am installing a new patient monitoring system in St. Jos.) My question is , what are the "must" try restaurants in the area. We have already hit Sodolaks and Chicken Oil. Both were great! Thanks Brothers !

Cafe Capri for Italian (downtown Bryan)
The Republic for nice Steak and Whiskey (On University)
Heberts for Cajun (little shack behind McDonald's on University)

If you like Mexican food, Los Cucos on Texas is excellent or try Rosas on university for something a little cheaper/faster. Both are cstat traditions.

I think it is called Bumpy's or something like that. It's right next to the St. Joseph's EMS office (on Sulphur or soemthing like that) which isn't by the hospital itself.

Casa Rod's downtown Bryan, but if you go for lunch you better be early.

Drive out to Wellborn, will take you about 5 minutes and eat at the Hullabaloo Diner. By far my favorite place around and it is approved by Guy Fierri (sp?)

It's called Buppy's and I'd pass it up.

I'd recommend C&J's for BBQ (Hwy 30, Southwest Pkwy, or Texas Ave in Bryan). Definitely go to Wings and More for spicy wings or fried chicken tenders. Casa Rod's or Gina's in Bryan for Mexican food. Olive Garden is always packed for Italian. For a good mix of choices, try Cheddar's on University Drive East, but you'd better get there early or between peak meal times...standing in the parking lot sucks.

Just down the road on South College towards Bryan from Outfitters on the left you will find an old, run down lookin joint called PEPE'S mexican food. Kinda like a homemade taco bell of sorts. Been there for over 35 years!

                            1. Go in and order a combo burrito and an order of Queso!!!!!
                            2. Dip the burrito into the queso on every bite and devour!!!!!!!

TRUST ME...I'm from Bryan and we used to eat here 20 years ago in High School and it's just as good taday.

Let me know what you think of that burrito dipped in the queso!!!!!!!!

                            Ty
