Predator hunters......?

Just wondering if anyone has had experience behind Hornady's personal defense TAP ammunition in .223 for a hunting situation?

I was thinking i might try these on coyotes but wanted to see if anyone has used them here onTBH.

Haven't tried the Hornady but I do like the Remington Accutip Ballistic Tip.

TAP works well on coyotes. Hornady 55gr VMAX works really well. I've thumped a few with it.

All of the yotes I shoot with my 22-250 are with a 55gr vmax

I disagree. I want them DRT and Hornady TAP and VMAX do that better than the rest. I don't have a problem spending a buck a round for DRT.

Thats my thinking too.... i would rather spend a little more for the added performance

With a well placed shot Vmax bullets are deadly. I shoot a 223 and they have been the end to many a animal. Vmax deadly and accurate!
