    Rant on Scumbag Thieves!

Just a warning to everyone that has plans to travel almost anywhere at anytime.

My truck was broken into in Tulsa OK this past Friday night sitting at a restaurant off a main highway at a very large, well lite shopping mall but still was targeted by the scumbags. Tulsa police said there is a rash of car burgularies everywhere in all states that are targeting large, expensive out of state vehicles thinking that the people are traveling and just stopped for a bite to eat and had valuables locked in the vehicle. All I lost was the rear passenger window on my C/C Ford, but the people I was with (my PH, Harry Nel from African Arrow Safaris and his girlfriend, Dierdre, a tour guide owner from J'oberg) lost a computer, digital camera, 2 rolling briefcases and every bit of their bookings, picture albums and contacts for the last few years. There is no way to put a price on the marketing tools they lost and hardly anyway to have it replaced. Some was backed up on hard drives, but some were not. We have been scrambling to replace what we can for their upcoming shows in Feb and March. Hard to do business without any marketing tools.

Remember, if traveling especially out of state, give thoughts to where you stop and park and what you will have to leave in the vehicle for whatever reason. Scumbags like this do not deserve the air they breath!

Man, that's horrible. And to think a bunch of us Americans are afraid of the crime in South Africa. It's a shame visitors to our country got nailed like this.

I hate Tulsa!! Had my truck stolen from a hotel parking lot about 7 years ago. Had them on video and everything, but still never got my truck back.
