IPhone / new computer question

So my old lagtop final gave up the ghost and I got a new one.

I have authorized the new computer, but when I go to sync and "check" to sync music, it tells me if I sync it will erase all the tunes on "the device" and replace with what is in the ITunes library. How do I sync to the new 'puter without loosing what is on the phone?

I will be watching this as I replaced my laptop and after syncing I lost all of my old stuff. I can see it in my purchased items but it won't let me load them. Great question.

you have to copyyour Itunes folder from you old computer to your new computer same location, then add that folder to your playlist folders.

I believe you have to go to iTunes click on Devices where it shows on the left of window iphone then under the summary of the iphone scroll down to options and check the Manually manage music and videos. I think that will let you move them back to your computer other wise it will copy the library from the computer to your iPhone and that erases everything on the iPhone.

I would do a last sync with your old pc then move folder that way its current, then deauthorize that computer. Seach for folder usually under "my music"
